The 1975 have announced a very special outdoor concert at London’s Finsbury Park this summer.

The Manchester band, who are set to embark on a sold-out UK arena tour throughout February and early March in support of their upcoming album ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’, will play London’s Finsbury Park on Saturday 11th July 2020.

Featuring two stages, the one-day event will also boast performances from Charli XCX, Clairo, Pale Waves, Phoebe Bridgers, Cavetown, Beabadoobee, Deb Never and many more special guests to be announced.

Described as “the greenest show Finsbury Park has ever seen”, to make the event eco-friendlier, The 1975 have pledged to plant a tree for each and every ticket sold to the Finsbury Park concert. Additionally, promoters Festival Republic will be planting 1,975 trees throughout the surrounding boroughs of Haringey, Hackney and Islington.

In a UK environmental first, traceable sustainably sourced HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil‎)fuel from Europe will be used to power the concert, which aims to reduce the carbon footprint by 90%.

The entire event will be paperless, and The 1975 are also introducing sustainable t-shirt printing where fans can bring old T-shirts to be printed with the latest 1975 designs.
