The BRIT Awards 2021 nominations revealed
The event takes place this May
Foo Fighters, Arlo Parks, Biffy Clyro, HAIM and Bruce Springsteen are among the big-name nominees for The BRIT Awards 2021 with Mastercard.
Taking place at the later date of Tuesday 11th May 2021, The BRITs will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall for the fourth consecutive year equalling the hosting record set by James Corden.
The BRIT Awards nominees were revealed this afternoon (31st March) and Absolute Radio 20s favourite Arlo Parks is one of standout successes with three coveted nods – Female Solo Artist, Breakthrough Artist and Mastercard Album for ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams.’
Biffy Clyro and The 1975 are both up for British Group and they will battle it out against pop stars Little Mix, hip-hop duo Young T & Bugsey, and electronic act Bicep.
Fresh from releasing his critically lauded twentieth studio album ‘Letter to You’ last autumn, Bruce Springsteen is up for International Male Solo Artist against Tame Impala, Burna Boy, Childish Gambino and The Weeknd.
Elsewhere, Billie Eilish will battle it out against Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift for the International Female Solo Artist title.
Foo Fighters and HAIM are up for International Group alongside Fontaines DC, Run The Jewels and omnipotent K-pop band BTS.
