X-Men actor looks completely unrecognisable in TV transformation
The actor dressed up for his new TV role
Actor Sir Patrick Stewart looks completely unrecognisable as pictures have emerged of the star dressed as a glamourous woman.
You would be forgiven for not recognising the popular actor in the new shots but it turns out it is all for a new role in US TV show, Blunt Talk.
Patrick, who is best known for this role in the film X-Men,** **shared a selfie showcasing his new look on Twitter.
The 75-year-old wore a pink satin dress along with a blonde wig and a full face of glamourous makeup to promote the new sitcom and some fans even compared him to fellow British acting legend Dame Helen Mirren.
The actor looked strikingly different from his usual look.

Blunt Talk, which is produced by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlen, stars Sir Patrick in the role as a cable news reporter.
The show’s official Twitter account posted further photos of the cast from the promo event in Los Angeles.
