The Pavillion (Greater Easterhouse)

The Pavillion Youth Café are a diverse youth club in Greater Easterhouse, Glasgow.

Based in an area of high deprivation, The Pavillion works to support families and young people in the community whichever way they can. Maintaining a close relationship with local housing and schools ensures the Pavillion are made aware of any families in need of additional support in the area.

The Pavillion runs sessions and specialised workshops for children and teens, focussing on issues such as mental health and wellbeing. They work with young people and their families, helping them to access support as well as funding for living costs and wellbeing activities.

Cash for Kids granting help to alleviate financial and emotional hardship in several ways, particularly during the school holidays. The Pavillion Youth Café have used CFK funding to provide financial support to deprived families in the form of food and clothing vouchers, funds for household bills, and activity packs.

During the summer holidays, the Pavillion puts on summer sessions where children are provided breakfast and lunch each day. Cash for Kids funding helps to ensure that this is a possibility, helping to tackle holiday hunger and improve mental health and wellbeing. Activities and workshops also provide social development opportunities to build confidence and encourage play and optimism in a safe environment.
