The former Oasis man isn't happy about Ed's Wembley gigs

Never one to mince his words, former Oasis lynchpin Noel Gallagher has aimed some harsh comments at Ed Sheeran.

In an interview with NME, Noel was reflecting upon Ed’s three-night residency at London’s Wembley Stadium this summer when he hit out at the singer.

"I don’t think I can live in a world where that’s even possible,” Noel blasted. “When you hear that kind of polished pop and then there’s a ginger guy with a fing guitar it seems subversive, but it’s fing not."

After The Independent newspaper printed Noel’s caustic comments, the ever-genial Ed came up with the perfect response.

He tweeted: “i can live in it(the world), its really enjoyable.” BOOM!

Last week, Noel hit out at the music scene in general saying that if you reach number one in the charts it “automatically means you’re s***.”

“Bands now go cap-in-hand to the industry and the industry has already decided what it wants for the f**king chart stars,” he ranted.

“Every single song in the Top 10 is the same st with a different voice. If you’re number one in the charts now, it automatically means you must be st.”
