CBB's Ryan Thomas admits he wants to MARRY Lucy Mecklenburgh

We can hear the wedding bells already

Ryan Thomas may have just entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, having the time of his life - but it's pretty safe to say that he's no doubt pining for his girlfriend, Lucy Mecklenburgh. Just before entering CBB, Ryan revealed in an interview with OK! magazine that he's head over heels for the fitness guru - even confessing that he wants to MARRY her one day.

But going back to where it all began, the 34-year-old ex-Coronation Street actor admitted that he'd lusted after Lucy for three years after seeing her on the front cover of a magazine, before they eventually met last year on Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls.

Speaking in an interview with OK!, Ryan admitted, "I’d been chasing her for about three years. I’d seen her on the cover of FHM years before."

Now that's commitment to the cause! After they'd started dating, Ryan knew straight away that she was "The One", and so introduced her to his nine-year-old daughter Scarlett, whose mum is his ex-girlfriend and Corrie co-star, Tina O'Brien.

He said, "I’m a softie and I wouldn’t have her around my daughter unless I knew she was going to be around for a very long time - I said the love word straight away."

Having known it was the real deal so early on makes it no surprise that Ryan is now planning to marry Lucy, and said, "We’ll have a massive wedding. It would be huge and one big party. It would be bigger than my brother Adam’s!"

The couple also discussed how they'll deal with the separation as Ryan is now in the CBB house. "We’ve been spending so much time together," Ryan explained. "I think you take it for granted when you spend so much time with someone, so I think it will hit me harder than normal."

"But these things are good for relationships because it makes you enjoy seeing each other again."
