Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien has shared the most adorable photo of herself and her nine-year-old daughter Scarlett Thomas, with fans commenting how much they lookalike.

Of course it's no surprise that children often look like their parents, but as Tina tends to keep her daughter off her social accounts, fans were left shocked at how much she's grown up to look like the actress.

Tina, who plays the role of Sarah Platt in the ITV soap, shared the cute photo to her Instagram account, with the caption, 'I didn’t actually get chance to post this yesterday on #mothersday as I was too busy running around being a mum 😂 Scarlett decided to wear her “mum is my home” top for Mother’s Day 😍here she is being arty and moody or just moody because she wanted to run off and play with her mate and boring uncool mummy was cramping her style 😂😍'. sic

Fans were quick to point out the similarities, one user wrote, 'mini you!', with another adding, 'Aww😂 she looks like you!! 🙈'. Another fan wrote, 'Can definitely see you in her'.

Others thought Scarlett was more like her dad, former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas.

Tina and Ryan welcomed Scarlett in 2008, with the pair enjoying a long-term relationship when they were also playing on-screen husband and wife in the soap between 2003-2009.

Ryan, who recently appeared on Australian soap Neighbours, often shares precious moments with his daughter to his own social media accounts.

When Ryan appeared on Lorraine last month to chat about his role in Neighbours, Scarlett joined her dad backstage and posed for a cute photo alongside stand in host Christine Lampard.

Ryan wrote, 'Thank you to @itvlorraine for having us and a massive thank you to @christinelampard for making me feel at home on the couch talking all things @neighbours'. sic
