After not releasing an album since 2014, it looks like Scottish singer Paolo Nutini has ended his hiatus with a jam-packed 2022. As well as going on a UK tour this year, he has now thrilled fans with the release of his brand new album.

Titled 'Last Night in The Bittersweet', this is Paolo's fourth studio album following on from his 2014 album 'Caustic Love'. His last three albums all had hugely successful songs, including hits like 'New Shoes', 'Last Request', and 'Candy'. His music catalogue has so far brought him eight million global album sales.

Paolo first announced 'Last Night in The Bittersweet' in May, and also surprised fans with the release of the new tracks ‘Lose It’ and ‘Through The Echoes’ at the time.

When it was released, fans rushed to praise the album, with some calling it the 'best album of the year'. One fan said: 'Last Night in the Bittersweet is a masterpiece. Paolo Nutini should be so proud. After 8 years, this is how it is done'. (sic)

Another added: 'Thank you!! 🙌🔥 I can’t wait to obsess over this for the next 7-8 years', with another person commenting: 'The new album is amazing! 🔥🔥🔥 Can't wait to see you live Paolo! 🎶😎🤟'. (sic)

Paolo is also getting back into live performances again and will be headlining TRNSMT Festival at Glasgow Green this weekend, as well as embarking on his 'Last Night in The Bittersweet' tour later in the year.

With his last tour being in 2015, it's no wonder fans were so excited at the chance to see the 'Pencil Full Of Lead' singer perform live, and tickets sold out within minutes of going on sale back in May.
