Tom Walker, the hitmaker behind 'Leave a Light On' and 'Angels', joined Clyde 1's Boogie to talk about working with Zara Larsson, performing at TRNSMT festival and, the UNBELIEVABLE way he warmed up some food when he REALLY wanted some hot food in his hotel room!

Tap PLAY below to hear the chat with Tom.

Speaking to Boogie, Tom revealed that there is a collaboration with Swedish pop star Zara Larsson on his forthcoming album, 'What A Time To Be Alive'. He explained how it came about saying he was working with a songwriter called Steve Mac, when Zara "just popped into the studio one day"!

He went on to say how she listened to the track and ended up helping him with it. Tom then admitted he was surprised at how well their voices worked together, but he's "super excited" for people to hear it. Tom will be releasing his debut album, 'What A Time To Be Alive' on the 19th October.

During the interview, Tom also recounted the time was on the road and really craved some hot food. Sadly, all he could find was bag of tortillas, some ham and some cheese, so he heated it up on the IRON in his hotel.

Needless to say, please don't try this at home!

Despite the very unconventional method of heating up his food, Tom admitted the iron actually did the job OK!

He revealed the "crowd were absolutely amazing", admitting he didn't really know what to expect. The festival took place during the lovely hot weather and he joked about it being strange to see so many pale people with sleeveless tops on!
