Westlife have admitted to Clyde 1 that they never thought they would ever get to play at the Hydro in Glasgow. In an interview with Boogie & Arlene they explain how the band split up when the arena was being built and never expected to be able to play there.

Nicky, Mark, Shane and Kian have returned after 7 years away. The Twenty Tour has sold out four dates at the Hydro in May and June. They tell us they had to add a fourth date because demand was so high.

Westlife, who have had the most UK number 1's expect for Elvis and The Beatles - have released their new single 'Hello My Love'. The song has been co-written by Ed Sheeran and their long-time songwriter Steve Mac.

In the interview, Kian tells us that it was very strange when Westlife split up because they hadn't really known life outside the band. Nicky recalls phoning his wife from his bedroom trying to order "scrambled eggs and smoked salmon".
