As the Britain's Got Talent auditions continue to grace our screens every Saturday night, viewers watch on as Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden try to find the best talent the country has to offer.

On Saturday night's show, 10-year-old singer Giorgia Borg made it through to the live semi-finals when Alesha pressed her Golden Buzzer, after telling the youngster, "That's how you do it."

HOWEVER, despite Giorgia's amazing performance, some viewers of the popular talent show were quick to slam the show, after discovering the 10-year-old is already famous in her native country of Malta.

One fan took to Twitter to write, 'Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Giorgia Borg represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision song constant??' sic

Another added, 'So annoying when they pull the old 'This is a shock routine' she's already being on Junior Eurovision,' with third angry fan writing, 'Oh for f---s sake #bgt stop using already established talent. Giorgia Borg already won multiple contests and been on Eurovision kids with the same song. Recycled s--t all the time.' sic

The talented singer previously tried to represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, but she finished third place, failing to secure public votes for the main competition.

Following the backlash, a Britain's Got Talent spokesperson said, "Britain's Got Talent offers the opportunity for people to showcase their talent.

"Some of the acts have previously appeared on other shows, as is the case for many TV talent shows these days, but there are no rules that state this should prevent them for applying.

"All acts audition on the same basis and normal programme rules apply."

Meanwhile, with the auditions in full swing, Amanda Holden is now the only judge not to use her Golden Buzzer.

David Walliams pressed his Golden Buzzer in the very first episode, after being reduced to tears by Flakefleet Children's Choir. Simon Cowell then pressed his buzzer for comedian Kojo Anim.
