ITV have confirmed they have moved the live Britain's Got Talent final which was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday 4th June to Saturday 3rd June.

In a statement the broadcaster confirmed they didn't want the live final to clash with Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester concert, which is being held to raise funds for the victims of the tragic Manchester Arena bombing last week.

The statement reads,

"Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert is bringing artists and the public together, and will raise funds for the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund.

"We have no desire to distract from this important cause, so we have taken the decision to move the Britain's Got Talent Final from Sunday night."

The British Soap Awards, which was due to be aired live for the first time in its history on Saturday night, will now be recorded and aired on ITV on Tuesday night.

It comes as Ariana Grande announced a star-studded line-up for a charity concert in Manchester this coming Sunday.

The concert, which is being held at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, stars the likes of Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Take That and Niall Horan.

The One Love Manchester concert will raise money for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund set up by Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross.

Ariana will be offering free tickets to those who went to her gig on the 22nd May and those who would like to go should apply through this website.

Tickets for One Love Manchester will go on sale tomorrow morning (Thursday at 10am). You can buy tickets here.

The Britain's Got Talent live final will now take place at 7.30pm on Saturday 3rd June on ITV.
