More than £1,000 of alcohol stolen from a North East supermarket

Two men have been charged in connection with the theft.

Alcohol valued at a four-figure sum of cash was stolen from Morrisons supermarket in Peterhead on Wednesday 13 December 2017.

The two men from Glasgow, aged 20 and 29 years old, are expected to appear in Peterhead Sheriff Court on Thursday 14 December charged in connection with the theft.

Sergeant James Callander said:

"We are dedicated to targeting acquisitive crime which is completely unacceptable.
