August 13th is International Left-handers day and so we've put together a list of 15 things only lefties will understand!
Happy International Left-handers Day! However let's take a moment to remember that in this right-biased world sometimes life is hard. Here’s 15 problems you only understand if you’re a leftie...
1. Scissors A special trip to the stationery shop is needed 2. Handshakes are complicated We'll stick to waving or head nods
3. Ink on our hands That fountain pen looks lovely, until we've smudged it a second later 4. Pens on chains We'll just use our own... 5. 6. Dinner tables are always set out wrong It can get awkward when we take a sip of the wrong drink
7. Getting dressed is hard Belts. Watches. Zips. We'll stick to jumpers and elastic.
8. The lack of left-handed instruments at school We always dreamed of being a rock star but the guitars at school just didn't allow it
9. We get called weird nicknames Southpaw, buck-fisted, cack-handed - we're no different to righties!
