A Motorcyclist has been left in hospital in a ‘serious condition’ after a traffic collision on the A82.

Road Policing Officers are appealing for witnesses after the serious road crash near Luss on Thursday 10 August 2023.

It happened around 2:15pm on the busy scots road near the junction with Culag.

The incident involved a Honda motorbike colliding with a Mercedes A class being driven by a 31-year-old man.

The bike rider was a 59-year-od man, and he was rushed to hospital after Police and Ambulance services attended the scene. Hospital staff say his condition is ‘serious’.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area during around the same time as the crash.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “This is a busy road and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash take place to contact us.

“I believe there are drivers who may have left the scene before police arrived and I would urge them to phone us as they may have information that will assist our investigation.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam or personal footage. Anyone with information is asked to please contact us through 101 quoting reference number 2059 of 10 August.”
