Two teenagers taken to hospital with head injuries after city centre attack

Police Scotland is appealing for information following a serious assault of a man and a woman in Glasgow.

The incident happened around 10.10pm on Thursday, 4 May, 2023, at the Four Corners in Glasgow City Centre.

The two victims, both aged 18, sustained head injuries and were taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Officers are keen to speak to a male aged between 15-20 years old. He is described as having a shaved head, around 5ft 7 inches tall, of slim build, and wearing a black and grey tracksuit with dark trainers.

He was last seen heading south on Jamaica Street, Glasgow.

Detective Constable Craig Whyte of CID in Glasgow said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of this incident.

“We are aware that an altercation took place between the victims and a group of people near to St Enoch Square, Glasgow, shortly before the attack.

“I would urge anyone who has any information regarding the incident to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 4135 of 4 May, 2023.

“Alternatively Crimestoppers can be called on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
