CCTV image released after assault on train between Glasgow and Stirling

British Transport Police has today released a CCTV image of a man, who may be able to assist with enquiries following an assault on a train.

It was travelling between Glasgow and Stirling on Saturday 13th August 2016.

The incident occurred on the 5.52pm Glasgow Queen Street to Dunblane service.

The man is described as being aged in his mid to late 20s, about 5'10" in height with short brown hair. He was wearing a blue jumper, white t-shirt, blue/grey jacket with white shoulder panels and a grey lined hood.

He alighted from the train when it arrived at Stirling Railway Station.

Detective Constable Nick Ritchie, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry, said: "I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man shown in the photograph to contact me as a matter of urgency."
