Celtic's Ciaran Dickson arrested in connection with Crow Road crash which killed 18-year old boy

Celtic player Ciaran Dickson has been arrested in connection with a crash on Glasgow's Crow Road, in which a teenage boy died.

Aidan Pilkington, who was 18, was hit in the early hours of Saturday morning.

19-year-old Dickson, who's part of the B team squad, has been released pending further investigation.

Emergency services attended the scene between Anniesland Cross and Southbrae Drive shortly after midnight on Saturday.

The 18-year-old was taken to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Tributes to Aidan have been posted on social media and flowers have been laid on Crow Road following the incident.

Dickson moved from Rangers to the Parkhead side in the summer.
