Man in hospital after Glasgow hit and run attack

A hit and run investigation is underway in Drumchapel after a man was knocked down late at night.

Police Scotland confirmed a 42-year-old was ‘deliberately’ hit on Achamore Road at 11.05pm on Thursday 4th April.

A statement said: RHe was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, where medical staff describe his condition as stable.

"The car drove off after the incident. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the car and the circumstances surrounding the incident."
