Six people taken to hospital after Easter weekend disturbances

It comes after incidents at Kelvingrove Park on Friday.

A number of incidents have occurred across Glasgow and the west over the Easter weekend.

Three men aged 16, 20 and 42 were taken to hospital following an incident in Govan.

Emergency services were called to the disturbance on Drumoyne Road at its junction with Shieldhall Road last night at around 7pm.

The road was sealed off until several hours later.

All three men have since been released from hospital, and a 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Police were also called to a large scale disturbance in Balloch at around 7.15pm last night.

Emergency services attended the scene at Balloch Park, where three teenagers aged 15, 16 and 18 were found injured and taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident involving the 18-year-old.

Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident involving the 15 and 16-year-old.

Officers have been carrying out additional patrols in the area and will be there over the weekend.

It comes after four teenagers were arrested following incidents at Kelvingrove Park on Friday.
