Owners of iconic Glasgow restaurant Rogano are hitting back at claims it's closing for good.

The city centre venue has not reopened since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Rumours had then begun circulating on social media this week speculating about its future.

But Lynnet Leisure say Rogano is not for sale and will open again at some point in 2021 following refurbishment.

Lynn Mortimer, MD of Lynnet Leisure said “Like a number of restaurant groups we are currently going through a period of restructuring as a result of the devastating impact Covid 19 has had on business.

"Following completion of that programme it out our intent that Rogano, following a refurbishment, will open again at some point in 2021. We can confirm the restaurant is not for sale”
