Fire rips through Possil scrapyard
Firefighters were kept out of the building as the roof collapsed

An investigation has begun after fire ripped through a scrap metal yard business in the Possil area of Glasgow last night:
At least a dozen firefighters were involved in tackling the blaze on Balmore Road which broke out around 8pm.
The roof of the scrap metal business run by BM metals was completely destroyed in the fire.
The building is owned by Colin Grant and has been in the family for more than 70 years.
He was at the scene but was too distraught to speak to our Chief Reporter Linda Sinclair.
