Health Secretary Apologises to Families of C Diff Outbreak

Lord McLean's report made 75 recommendations to ensure the outbreak doesn't happen again.

Ensuring the deaths from the C Diff outbreak don't happen again is a priority for the new Health Secretary.

Shona Robison's apologised to the families of the 34 people killed at the Vale of Leven hospital in West Dunbartonshire almost 7 years ago. Yesterday Lord McLean published his inquiry into the outbreak, which was the biggest in the country, and has made 75 recommendations to be implemented across the country.
