With just a few days to go until Clyde 1's #LightTheWay demonstration, we're answering all your questions about the event.

It's being held from 6-7pm on Friday December 10, at the Stewart Memorial Fountain in Kelvingrove Park.

We're urging Glasgow City Council to rethink its stance on installing safety lighting in parks.

Do I need to register?

There is no need to register to attend the demo, but you can join the event on Facebook. Click "attending", to give us a rough idea of how many people to expect.

What do I need to bring?

If you can, we'd love for you to bring a candle, glow stick, or torch with you, to help light up the park.

We'll have a photographer there to capture the moment.

If you'd prefer not to be pictured, just let us know on the day. Our staff will be easily identifiable.

And please make sure you wear warm clothes!

What Covid precautions will be in place?

We're asking everyone to take Lateral Flow Test before coming along. Please don't attend if you return a positive result, have symptoms, or have been asked to isolate.

If you can't make it, you can still support us on social media, using the hashtag #LightTheWay.
