Glasgow is in shock this morning after a bin lorry veered out of control on a city centre street yesterday afternoon - killing six people. Eight people - including the driver - are being treated in hospitals throughout the city too. Andrew Weir saw it happen:

Emergency services are still in George Square trying to figure out what happened after the lorry careered down Queen Street hitting people in its wake - before smashing into the Millennium Hotel. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon says it's a real tragedy:

A book of condolence will be available for people to sign, today, from 11.30am, at St George's Tron Church.

A Mass will be also be led by Archbishop Philip Tartaglia in St Andrew's Cathedral on Christmas Eve (tomorrow) at 1pm.
