Man hurt after assault at Westerton train station

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Officers are investigating after a man in his 40s sustained serious injuries when he was attacked by two other men at Westerton train station in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He was approached shortly after 1am and needed medical treatment, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Both men are described as white in their late teens to early twenties, one wore a black tracksuit, the other in a North Face grey tracksuit.
