A man will stand trial accused of performing a sex act on himself outside Ibrox Stadium during the Rangers title celebrations.

Ryan Gemmell, 46, allegedly exposed himself on Edmiston Drive on March 7, 2021.

Prosecutors state Gemmell intentionally engaged in sexual activity in front of people.

Hundreds of Rangers fans had gathered outside Ibrox that day to celebrate the club’s Scottish Premiership title win.

Gemmell pled not guilty to the charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

A trial was fixed for October by Sheriff Gerard Bonnar.

Gemmell, of the city’s Queen’s Park, remains on bail for the matter meantime.
