Footballs, goalposts and training equipment have been reunited with coaches in Bishopbriggs after it all went missing earlier this week.

Officers found a container belonging to East Dunbartonshire Football Club after Clyde 1 told you it was missing.

Volunteer and coach David Cameron said: "A bit of information came in as to where the container could be and this was passed on to Police Scotland.

"This will allow us to carry on with our football festival in June where over 2,000 children come to play.

"Myself and other coaches were all absolutely devastated and we were not sure if we could carry on.

"It just goes to show that community spirit can be used as a force for good."
