Missing Ipswich Teen spotted in Ayrshire and may now be in Glasgow

A missing teenager from Ipswich is believed to have travelled to Ayrshire, and may now be in Glasgow officers say.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance to help trace missing teenager Mohammed Said.

Mohammed was reported missing to Police in Ipswich on Thursday 29 June. He was spotted in the Hayocks Road area of Stevenston earlier this week on Wednesday 5 July.

Police now believe he could be in Glasgow, but are asking people in the Stevenston and wider Ayrshire area to keep a lookout for his whereabouts.

Sergeant Claire Walker said: “Since being reported missing, Mohammed is believed to have been in Ayrshire and may now have travelled on to Glasgow.

“I am appealing for anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact us. I would also appeal to Mohammed himself to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1029 of Tuesday, 4 July 2023.
