Officers release image of man who could help them with Glasgow train incident

The man shown could help the British Transport Police with their investigation.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they think could help them with their investigation into an incident on a train going from East Kilbride to Glasgow in December.

It happened on Thursday 16th December on the 17:33 ScotRail service to Glasgow Central.

Detectives believe that the male shown in the image may have information that could assist them and would urge the male shown or any members of the public who recognise him to contact police.

The man is described as white, aged around late 40's/ early 50's, tall, of slim build and with brown short hair, wearing a dark coloured jacket, dark blue jeans and carrying a dark coloured backpack.

British Transport Police can be contacted by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2100098044.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
