It's now just one week until Scotland play their first major football tournament in 23 years.

Clyde News is taking a look inside a nightclub in Shawlands which is transforming into a Euro 2020 pub.

The Shed hasn't been open since the start of the pandemic in March last year and will show every Scotland game to fans.

Manager Paul Smyth said: "This is a good opportunity to see how well we can operate under the restrictions the government has given us.

"Customers and Scotland fans in particular have been asking if we are showing the games."

The venue will be fully seated and follow level 2 coronavirus restrictions which are the same for all pubs across Glasgow.

Paul added: "We'll have the big screens up, picnic tables and we have booths around the club as well.

"Everything will be table service and we will follow all the distancing guidelines.

"We just want to create a safe environment for everyone to watch the game."

Deputy leader of Glasgow City Council, David McDonald, said: "There is real excitement building in the city for The Euros which start next week.

"This is an event that I have been involved in since 2013 and there has been a huge amount of planning going on behind the scenes.

"We cannot wait to welcome international football back to its birthplace here in Glasgow."
