After an assault in Paisley, police are looking for our help to find those responsible

Detectives in Paisley are appealing for information after a 27-year-old man was assaulted.

The incident happened around 12.30am on Sunday, 25 June, 2023 on Gilmour Street.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as being a white man with dark hair. He was wearing a black hooded top, black shorts and black trainers. He was carrying a drawstring bag.

Detective Constable Kate Wason, from Paisley CID, said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have information that could assist officers.

"We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage, to get in touch.”
