Man to appear in court after police seize £413k of drugs from Glasgow property

Officers recovered cocaine, heroin, amphetamine and cannabis from a property on Dalness Street.

A man's due to appear in court today after police discovered drugs worth more than £400,000 in a Glasgow property.

Yesterday (Wednesday, 6 September, 2023) officers executed a search warrant on Dalness Street.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged after the haul with an estimated street value of £413,000 was recovered.

During the search, quantities of heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis were recovered.

The 28-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Thursday, 7 September, 2023).

Detective Inspector Murray Owen said: “This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

“Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from the community.
