Police hunt motorist after attempted murder in Clydebank

A 31-year-old had a car deliberately driven at him on Tuesday.

A man has been left shaken following a murder attempt in Clydebank on Tuesday.

Police Officers are appealing for information on the incident after a car was deliberately driven toward a 31-year-old man in Graham Avenue.

The incident occurred around 6:30pm on Tuesday 15 March with the white Toyota C-HR car last being seen driving in the direction of Kilbowie Road.

The victim of the incident escaped uninjured.

Police Appeal

Investigators are now looking for video footage that could help assist their enquiries.

Detective Inspector Samantha Glasgow, of Clydebank CID, said: “This was a deliberate act and it is fortunate that the man did not sustain injuries as a result.

“We are asking anyone who was in the Graham Avenue area around the time of the incident and may have seen what happened or have dash-cam footage of the incident, or of the car involved, to get in touch.

“Anyone with information that could help with our investigation is urged to please call us.

“If you can help please contact us via 101, quoting incident number 3120 of 15 March, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
