Two teenagers arrested following stabbing at Rutherglen train station

The teenage boy who was stabbed is critical in hospital.

Two teenagers have been arrested following a stabbing at Rutherglen station in Glasgow last night.

It happened at around 5pm when a teenage boy suffered serious injuries to his chest and lower body, he was taken to hospital where he remains.

An 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested following the incident.

They were both arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody.

British Transport Police officers will be at the scene today carrying out further enquiries.
