14-year-old boy taken to hospital after being hit with car in Glasgow

A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital on Saturday evening after being hit with a car on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 5.45pm.

The teenager was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

“We were called around 5.4pm on Saturday, 20 August, to a report of crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.

“A 14-year-old boy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University hospital as a precaution.”
