Teenager 'kicked and punched' by group of men in Clydebank

A teenager's been attacked in Clydebank overnight.

The 17 year old had left a function at the Hardgate House Hotel around 1 am on Saturday morning and made his way towards Glasgow Road, when

3 men then got out of a small white car and started kicking and punching him before driving off in the direction of Bearsden and Drumchapel.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital suffering from head and facial injuries however he left prior to treatment.

Detective Constable Iain Allison at Clydebank CID said:

“Our enquiries have revealed that at the time this incident occurred there was a large group of people in the area who had also come from the function at the hotel. I urge these people to contact police immediately as they may have information that could help identify the persons responsible for this assault.”
