Third man arrested in connection with death of Airdrie Dad, shot on his doorstep

A 23-year old man's been arrested in connection with the death of an Airdrie Dad who was shot on his doorstep.

32-year old Gary More was killed last September in Gartness Drive.

He will appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday 21st October, 2019.

Detective Superintendent Allan Burton of the Major Investigation Teams said: “This has been a long and complex investigation however Police Scotland is determined to bring justice for Gary's family.

''This arrest has been achieved through the dedication of the officers and staff working on the enquiry, however the work is not yet done, and we will continue our efforts to ensure all those involved in Gary’s death are brought before the courts to answer for their crimes.”

Two other men, arrested in February, have already appeared in court in connection.
