With just three days to go until Christmas - households across Glasgow and the West will be stocking up on food and drink for the festivities. But what about those of us who are struggling to put food on the table any day of the week?

That's Karen Carruthers - who volunteers at Drumchapel food bank. Since launching in February this year they've helped feed over 460 people - 188 of them were children. Oonagh Brown is the local food bank coordinator:

Louise is not alone - the Trussell Trust say more than 71,000 Scots are currently living in food poverty.
