Fire crews tackle 17th floor Glasgow tower block blaze

No one has been hurt in the early morning incident

More than 40 fire fighters have been called out to an early morning blaze in a tower block in Glasgow which has been partially evacuated.

Scottish fire and rescue were called to an incident on the 17th floor of the block in Lincoln Avenue at 4.18am on Sunday.

9 appliances were sent to the scene and the 17th and 18th floors of the tower were evacuated.

There were no casualties and crews are still working at the scene.
