Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is one of the top candidates Leeds United is looking at to fill their managerial vacancy.

Jesse Marsch was sacked after less than a year in charge following Sunday's 1-0 loss away to Nottingham Forest

It leaves the club outside the relegation zone only on goal difference.

Sky Sports News are now reporting Ange Postecoglou is one of the names on the radar of the Leeds United hierarchy as they look to find the American's replacement.

Rayo Vallecano boss Andoni Iraola and West Bromwich Albion head coach Carlos Corberán are also linked with the job.

Former Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson is keen for the Australian to make the move to Elland Road.

He told the Scottish Sun: “I know there has been talk of Carlos Corberan at West Brom, but I personally would love to see Postecoglou come down from Celtic.

“They have to get somebody who hits the ground running.

“People talk about someone who knows the league inside out and know the players.

“I think it would be a very difficult time to get Postecoglou obviously, as it’s looking like they’re going to win the league again and another trophy for him up there.

“But I think of his man-management skills and the way he’s adapted himself to the Scottish Premier League and the trophies he’s won.

“He’s got Harry Kewell as his assistant up there, so there is a link already.

“I think it’s only going to be a matter of time before he does come to the Premier League and I’d love to see Leeds push the boat out and go and get him now.”
