Celtic teenager Ben Doak has completed his move to Liverpool.

The 16-year-old has joined the Premier League giants for a compensation fee and will feature for their academy side from next season.

Doak has made two appearances for Celtic so far this campaign, including coming on as a substitute in February's 3-0 win at home to Rangers.

Ange Postecoglou is a keen admirer of the youngster, but the Parkhead side have been unable to hold onto the highly-rated winger after an approach from the English club.

Reports from the Athletic claim Liverpool could have to pay up to £600,000 to Celtic after agreeing a long-term contract with Doak.

He caught the eye again this week after scoring a hat-trick for Scotland under-17's against Georgia.
