Celtic defender Greg Taylor has extended his contract at the club until the summer of 2025.

The full-back, who joined from Kilmarnock in 2019, has committed his future to the Parkhead side.

Taylor has had a stuttering start to life under new boss Ange Postecoglou after facing injury problems.

His last appearance for the club was in their 3-0 home win over Ross County in September.

However, the Australian boss has made the move to reward the Scotland international with a new deal.

Ange Postecoglou told the official club website: "I am delighted that Greg has extended his contract with the Club. He has had an excellent start to the season and has made a really valuable contribution to the team.

"Unfortunately he has suffered the injury in recent weeks, but our focus and his, is now to get him back in the squad as soon as possible, have him pick up where he left off and playing at that same high level.

“I am really pleased he has committed his future to Celtic and I am sure he will be an important player for us over the next few years."
