Motherwell have brought Jordan Roberts back to the club on a loan deal from Hearts.

The 27-year-old had a brief spell at Fir Park last season where he bagged three goals in eight games.

His time at the Steelmen was cut short through injury but he has now returned to the club on a temporary basis again.

The deal will see him stay at the club until January.

Roberts signed for Hearts in 2020 and previously played for Gillingham, Lincoln City, Ipswich Town, Crawley Town, Inverness CT and Aldershot.

Manager Graeme Alexander told the club website: “Bringing Jordan back to the club was a no brainer for us.

“He had a really good spell with us last season and we’ve always wanted him to return if possible.

“We know the qualities he brings will help us and it’s great to have him back with the team.”
