Aberdeen's interim boss Peter Leven will miss their home game with St Johnstone after being taken to hospital last night to undergo an emergency operation. It was a success and he's "expected to make a full and swift recovery".

Scott Anderson, alongside Craig Samson, Jonny Hayes and Stuart Duff, will lead the team for today's match but the 40-year-old will be in contact with his staff throughout the afternoon.

The club says "Everyone at AFC sends their best wishes to Peter and we look forward to seeing him back at the training ground next week".

Elfsborg gaffer Jimmy Thelin will take over as Dons manager in June, after his final game against Gothenburg.
