Premiership B Teams face difficult trips in the opening two rounds

The draw for the first and second rounds of the SPFL Trust Trophy has taken place this afternoon.

Rangers B face a trip to Spartans in the opening round before a potential meeting with Dumbarton.

Celitc B travel to Albion Rovers, with the winner of Bonnyrigg Rose and Livingston B waiting at the next stage.

Hearts, Hibernian, Aberdeen, Motherwell, St Mirren, St Johnstone, and Dundee United B sides all also discovered their fate.

The draw is split in to North and South sections in the first two rounds and comprised of teams from League One, League Two, The Highland and Lowland Leagues and Premiership B sides.

The majority of League One clubs and all of the Championship clubs, including defending champions Raith Rovers, will enter in the third round.

Round one fixtures will be played midweek on August 9/10.
