Rangers have confirmed legendary goalkeeper Andy Goram is undergoing treatment for cancer in a local hospital.
Club officials say his family have asked for privacy at this time.
A statement from Ranger reads:
"Rangers can confirm our legendary goalkeeper, Andy Goram, is undergoing treatment for cancer in a local hospital. Club officials are in regular contact with Andy and his family.
"The family have asked for privacy at this time.
Goram also played for the likes of Hibs, Motherwell and Oldham Athletic.
Oldham Athletic have also sent well wishes on Twitter:
"As a club, we are sending our thoughts and well wishes to Andy and his family during this difficult time."
