The 20-year old made seven appearances for the German champions last season
Rangers have secured a season-long loan deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Malik Tillman.
The Ibrox side also have an option to buy the player next summer as part of the agreement.
Tillman featured seven times for the German champions last season - including coming off the bench in December's Champions League clash with Barcelona.
The 20-year old has already been capped twice for the USA despite featuring a various youth levels for Germany.
He becomes their fifth signing of the summer following Antonio Colak, Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo.
John Souttar also joined Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team this window after a pre-contract agreement.
