Working from home used to be a treat. But for many of us, the kitchen table or spare bedroom has become the new office.

We've all been there...after a long day of zoom calls with your eyes gazing at a screen, all you want to do is roll over on the sofa and stick on your latest binge-worthy series. Once the workday is done, your last thought is to get in shape.

Finding the motivation to workout during these testing times is tough, but exercising in the comfort of your own home can actually be fun.

Especially when you have the perfect playlist - Cool FM Workout!

Scientific studies prove that music can improve your motivation. Music causes the brain to release dopamine, a chemical which works to regulate motivation and goal-oriented behaviour. Just what you need for work!

You can listen via the Cool FM App, by asking your smart speaker to “play Cool FM Workout” or simply online HERE!

Check out some of our top tips WTH fitness:

1 - Start the day with yoga

This is perhaps one of the best exercises for home workers sitting at a desk all day. Nothing beats a good old stretch!

2 - Install a pull-up bar in a doorway

As long as you're allowed to, why don't you fit a pull-up bar at the entrance to your office space. Anytime you're tempted to nip to the kitchen for a snack or cup of coffee you have to do 5 reps.

3 - Get steps during your lunch break

It's important to take breaks throughout the day, so why not close the laptop, stick your headphones on and nip out for a walk at lunch.

4 - 5 minutes of skipping in between calls

When you get a short break what's the first thing you grab, a cup of coffee or a skipping rope? This will help raise your heart rate and is a fab way to fit some cardio into your day.

5 - Keep a pair of weights near your desk

Used regularly in pilates, a handy set of ankle/wrist weights are perfect for when you're sitting at a desk. Simple leg raises and circled arms can help target the bum and bingo wings.
