Meet Britt Quentin.

The man tasked with the enormous job of personifying the one and only late Michael Jackson.

If that wasn’t enough pressure for any one man, he is also double jobbing and plays the lead vocalist in the acclaimed Thriller Live, as well as holding down the position of Resident Director of the show.

Thriller Live is a celebration of the iconic musical legend and the Jackson 5 and is set to moonwalk into the Waterfront Hall this Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 March.

The concert is a definitive tribute to the world’s greatest entertainer and claims to take the audience on an electrifying journey through the music icon’s 45-year career.

Britt is uniquely placed to talk about the spectacle behind the scenes, having performed 2,320 shows over the past six years in the West End.

He told us he is particularly looking forward to performing in Belfast and the Northern Ireland crowd’s reputation precedes it.

According to Britt’s parents, the story goes that he came into the world singing. Britt says church bands by age six felt more natural than baseball.

Hailing from Michigan, Britt is classically trained and says he was reluctant to come to London as he would miss his native America but the bright lights of the West End were too much to resist and he hasn’t looked back.

He has shared the stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Kid Rock and jazz legends such as Natalie Cole, Herbie Hancock and Kenny G.

We couldn’t let him go without asking for an exclusive Downtown/Cool FM sneak preview for anyone looking forward to the show at the weekend.
